Application:
1. Do you ever think God expects more than you have to offer? Do you have a better understanding of the word “extravagant”?
2. What did you learn about the dinner guests mentioned in John 12?
3. Is your public worship the same as your private worship? Why? Why not?
4. What does your worship and/or devotion smell like?
5. Have you ever viewed the church as a business? Why? Why not?

Sermon Application:
1. If you were to examine your life, how much of your love life is based on emotions and how much is Spirit led? Why do you think this is the case?
2. Would God judge your home to be a loving home? Would God judge your church to be a loving church?
3. As you take inventory of your love life according to verses 4-6, which elements of love is lacking? Which ones are flowing? ( Be careful you don’t want to boast-smile)
