1. When was the last time you experienced a peripety in your life?

2. Our you quick to demonstrate gratitude for the kindness of others? Of God?

3. How does gratitude relate to humility and pride? What do you think of the statement: He who thinks nothing is due him, never thinks himself ill-treated.
